Tumtec class: methods of debugging and testing fiber cleaver

Steps

1. Take out the fiber cleaver and check whether the appearance of the fiber cleaver is damaged, scratched and blown paint;

2. Check whether the moving parts of the cleaver are running smoothly (which parts are stuck and return to relevant procedures for processing);

3. Check whether the pad is deformed, pasted and aligned, and there are no gaps (return to the joint adjustment process if problems occur);

4. Use tools to adjust the bolts and screws again, and check whether they are wrongly installed or not;

5. Take out qualified clamps and put in the clamping groove of fiber cleaver (TC-F8 shall load the baffle first) and pre-tighten the clamping fixture;

6. Open the clamp cover and the upper cover of the fiber cleaver, put the fiber into the fixture to calibrate the fixture level, and tighten the screw to tighten the fixture;

7. Put the bare fiber into the cleaver, close the clamping device cover and the top cover of the fiber cleaver, and cut the fiber into the moving slider;

8. Put the fiber into the fusion splicer to check the perpendicularity of the fiber end surface;

9. Cut several times until the fiber ends are stable. If not, check and clibrate.
